Simple Mills Sea Salt & Rosemary Artisan Bread
I'm a huge fan of Simple Mills products. Why? Well they're packed with healthy, whole, simple [duh!] ingredients + huge flava flav! The company is also based in Chicago so claps and snaps for hometown pride! You honestly can't go wrong with any of their products...
Almond flour crackers?! - scrumptious!
Choco chip crunchy cookies - deeeeelish!
Pumpkin bread - puhhlease, if you know me, you know I'm over the moon for this stuff!
After the Thanksgiving holiday I made a HUGE batch of chicken and veggie soup. I was vibin' on some feel good comfort food, but wanted to keep it relatively healthy at the same time. The soup turned out delicious [woot woot], but it needed a companion. Right on.
Simple Mills Artisan Bread mix to the rescue! [just six simple ingredients in the boxed mix: almond flour, arrowroot, flax meal, tapioca, sea salt & baking soda]
In addition to the bread mix you'll need to snag eggs, water, oil [recipe calls for olive oil, but I subbed in coconut oil], and apple cider vinegar. Easy-peasy. The back of the package offers 3 different ways to prepare the bread: flatbread, dinner rolls, or a loaf. The amount of additional ingredients depends on which type of bread you're planning to make.
I opted to make the loaf and add a little sea salt and rosemary on the top. Just keepin' things jazzy!
Ingredients + Instructions ... just follow the package ... it's honestly THAT easy!
- 1 package Simple Mills Artisan Bread Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- Shimmy shake of rosemary + sea salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry bread mix with wet ingredients. Add to greased loaf pan. Top with rosemary and sea salt. Bake! [package says 1 hour, but mine took about 45 min].
Ka POW. Enjoy.
Also, if you're interested in jazzing up your bread even more than me, Simple Mills has an AHHH-mazing recipe section on their site.
